I have a JK 2010, 4door wrangler , sport unlimited. I'd like to get something that has a bolt base to match the factory holes. Most mirrors I've seen on the internet, don't give you the dimensions. just tell you what they fit. Thought about getting a towing add on, but I'd like something you just can't walk up snatch it and take off with it .

Thank I found something. set of 6" round, or 5x7 rectangular mirrors. They mount on the windshield shield frame. They will do for what I need and will act as reserve when, I remove my doors. Happy me. I'll leave the door mirrors in place.

Check out Quadratec for similar mirrors that attach to the door hinge or windshield brackets. Some of them have removable mirrors and leaves the base mounted.
