Wobble at 40.. Gone by 50?

    Hi all. Seeking some guidance....again!! I hit a guardrail on my way home from work with my 98 g. Cherokee. :(. F-ed up my bumper pretty good and knocked a hole in my evap canister. I put er in4wheel n drove outta there tho. But now I gotta a hell of a wobble at 40 and it disappears between 45 n 50 miles an hour. I climbed underneath and nothing looks outta wack??? Any ideas?? Ty

    A bent wheel is a possibility.
    Tire out of balance is a possibility
    Alignment is a possibility

    You can jack up the axle and spin it to see about a bent wheel...or have a friend drive alongside and look for wheel wobble (left and right). You can look to see if you knocked off all your wheel weights.

    Have that tire that hit the guard rail checked out. Probably out of balance.
