Only reason to enter Walmart is to pickup the big 5qt jug of motor oil. Best to dashin + dashout.

I prefer the Wally World that has self checkouts. I try to avoid being stuck in line behind......^^^ that.

I keep enough to get me through 2 oil changes at least. Then I look to replace when I go into some. Don’t have enough room for 30 cases unfortunately. Have 2 kids and we have a lot of outdoor equipment for them in the garage. They love being outside.

I run Pennzoil full synthetic 10w30. Lasts 5K miles b4 need to change again

6qts costs bout $25 and then another $7 for filter. So $32 for full synthetic which would cost bout $70 if you paid to do it.

I realize a lot of people love to buy from those big box stores or from your favorite online retailer, but please don’t forget your locally owned small parts stores. They are fast disappearing because they can’t compete on price due to volume restrictions based upon purchasing power. Let’s keep your local community parts stores open!

My local parts store carries liqui-moly almost exclusively because I started requesting them to do so. It’s now their best selling engine oil product. They even get factory filters for me. I’m sure they’ll be surprised when I request a Mopar filter next time I’m in.

You can save yourself about half the cost doing your own oil change. I spend about $40 for synthetic oil and filter, Quick lube center would charge me at least double that. Always change your filter every time you change your engine oil. Most oils out there are of a good quality, just stick with 5w-20 and change regularly.

Just to add my $.02. I do not have a reset function for the next oil change because of the age of my vehicle. I write down all info in a notebook i keep it in the glove box(this includes everything done to my jeep) I also lube my jeep when I change the oil. I am under the jeep anyway.

    Easiest oil change routine ever:
Install one of THESE in place of your drain plug. You will no longer need a wrench, and the drain tube makes it less messy.
Replace your oil filter. The top-loaded filter in the 3.6L is about the easiest to change I've ever seen.
Fill your crankcase with THIS stuff.
Now go about your life for the next 12 months or 20,000 miles without worrying about the oil any more. Change the oil in your birthday month and it'll be easy to remember when it's due.
