Hey everyone, new member with a problem I've read on here in the past. I have a light metal sound that goes with rotation, coming from the Left front while I'm in 4 wheel drive. Fluids, U joints, driveshaft and cv shaft are all good. I thought maybe the selector wasn't moving all the way so I shot that with Power Lube and it moved a lot easier,.. took it around the block and NO noise. Took it around again and the noise came back. I put the jeep on a downhill slope and put it in reverse, in 4wheel and doesn't make a sound, ONLY going forward. I've read about ppl changing the transfer case and it didn't solve the problem either. Not doing it in reverse makes no sense to me. Any help would be appreciated. TY.
