Hi, Is anyone familiar with Heat Soak on a CJ with Iron Duke? Here is my problem. Jeep runs great until it gets hot. Then, when hot, dies out at idle. Can keep her running by holding hand over 80% of the carb throat or manually choking. Seems the extra richness is what she needs. I did everything to resolve this. PCV, EGR, EGR removal, Vacuum lines, adjustments, rebuild carb, larger primary jet, external fuel pressure regulator. I even bypassed the heater hose line around the manifold. Nothing works except partial choking. My manifold is the type where the EGR passage goes directly under the carb to the outside of manifold,(passenger side) then though the EGR valve and back under the carb. (I can't even find it on line). Every other one I've seen, the EGR sits between the head & the carb. Any ideas? I was thinking a Phenolic Spacer but looking closely I think there is already one between the adaptor & the manifold. I'm just stumped! Any help word be appreciated. Thanks
