    Hello,
I've had 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2l for a few years now but lately I've been getting a pretty aggressive grinding noise coming what sounds like front driver's side. when letting off the gas at around both 1k and 2k rpm.
This is what I changed so far tying to diagnose the issue.

    1. brakes and rotors
    2. Hub assemblys
    3. CV joints (last year I may pull them out to check again (cheep oriellys replacements))
    4. Universal Joints and greased all 3 coming from transfer case.

I tried moving the pinion up/down and side to side and there is no play and the same on the transfer case side.

    The differential is filled.
I do have a pretty good leak from either the transmission or and the transfer case that it leaks only when parked on an incline. (The leak has been there for almost a decade) I think it is the seals between the transfer and trans but I can't find the part numbers for the seals.

Two thing I think it might be at this point is pinion and carrier bearings or something with the transfer case.

Any help identifying the issue would be greatly appreciated
