The last two mornings, this pile of foam insulation has been found under the rear passenger side of my Jeep JK Wrangler. I also found a nest with some of this and leaf litter under the driver’s side window cowl yesterday afternoon. I checked underside, there is no obvious foam insulation anywhere under the rear passenger door (just metal components). I checked inside under all the seats, they are intact. I assume a rat is doing the damage, but can’t determine where this is coming from so I can deter further damage.

Time to place a few of these traps strategically in the garage and/or in the Jeep before they start chewing those tasty wires within the Jeep. Any mouse droppings around the foam pile?81WUOGwS97L._AC_SS450_.jpg

You better use a trap if they eat the poison and go somewhere you can’t get them but you’ll find them pretty easy and that’s not good :facepalm:just my two cents

My '15 JKU has sprayed foam in the rear quarter panels, which I found when I removed the tail lamps to route some wires. I wonder if that might be the source of your white material?

When I left the Jeep parked outdoors for a week or two last summer, mice developed a taste for the foam insulation under the engine cover. No wire damage, though.
