How to control the alternator?

    I now have a diesel engine in my 92 YJ. The engine control is no longer being used. It used to control the field of the alternator which controls the alternator. How can I control the alternator now?

    using an external alt on jeeps is common. As the PCM is not used a basic kit is all you will need , regulator and a few wires, utilizes a common electronic regulator...
