I just bought a 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ and need to replace the hood, right front fender, and windshield. I was able to find a 1989 YJ that has all the body parts I need and a hard top. I was wondering if the 1989 and the 1995 were interchangeable. Any insight would be appreciated.

Looking online for your year hood, it does show the same part number for '89-'95. Having purchased aftermarket fenders for my '86, I was quite disappointed. As it required a lot of work to get them to fit and look halfway decent by drilling out clearance holes, bending metal, and filing. Even had spot welds pop, requiring some small bolts to hold the metal together. I have to suggest the junkyard oem parts, for a better fit.

Welcome @Nicky ...glad you're saving the squares! Besides engine/trans improvements most of the body parts should fit or require minor adjustments. Post pics of your project via "upload-a-file" tab

I’m picking up my 95 YJ tomorrow before noon and will post pic from several different angles.
Jim Beam, I hope to see the donor Jeep this week. I’m glad I saw your post about aftermarket parts. It did seem to good to be true. As a kid CJ7 was my first love.
