YJ starter problem

    Question: 95 YJ- i removed and reinstalled the 5 speed shifter to accommodate new seats. After that the starter would spin but Bendix did not engage flywheel. Replaced starter and solenoid and installed fully charged battery with the same results. Thoughts to solve problem? Thanks

    Welcome @pakajeep ...think about your steps taken during shifter removal to make sure everything got reconnected. Wouldn't hurt to confirm battery cable integrity from top to bottom especially the ground cable(s).
