    Hi everybody , there's any way I can find a complete adapter to install a 5 or 6 speed transmission on my 79 cj5 ? Thanks

    87 Wrangler, kind of...
    5.7 V8 with Whipple Supercharger, TH350 w/B&M Shifter, NP205 TC, Dana 60 front 4.56, GM 14 bolt 10.5 rear 4.56, 4 wheel discs, Bilstein shocks, 6" lift on 37's, Autometer gauges, all led lighting and a few other things.
    T-150 transmission now?
    T4/T5 is longer and you'll need the dana 300 transfer case with it. Bell housing, transfer case, tranny support/mounts, tunnel cover and skid plate will need to be changed/modified. Front and rear driveshfts will need to be changed. Rear will be quite a bit shorter which will increase the angle to differential.
    Can be done, but not going to be a simple drop and swap.
