    Hi Guys,

I have upgraded my exterior lighting save the headlights to LED. I am using an LED (Electronic) Flasher. Everything works great, until I use an 1157 LED in my Taillight. On my Jeep, this light handles Tail, Brake and Turn (there is a separate 1156 for Reverse). With an incandescent 1157, everything works, but not with the LED...

Any ideas what is wrong? I upgraded many cars and motorcycles to LED lighting, but I have never had this issue before. I can't imagine its a ground issue due to the incandescent lightbulb functioning perfectly...

    Thanks!

On a different vehicle, all the LEDs (canbus-friendly and resistor-free) worked except the LED front turn signal triggers hyper flash. My preference was to have instant-on + brighter LED rear tail/stop/turn so out came the LED front turn signal. On your Jeep what happens when the 1157 LED is installed in the tail light? Anything works? Did you consider splicing in a resistor?

5.7 V8 with Whipple Supercharger, TH350 w/B&M Shifter, NP205 TC, Dana 60 front 4.56, GM 14 bolt 10.5 rear 4.56, 4 wheel discs, Bilstein shocks, 6" lift on 37's, Autometer gauges, all led lighting and a few other things.
Should work. There are no incandescent bulbs anywhere on my Jeep inside or out. I put in a $8 electronic flasher, no hyper-flash, no resistor needed. I have yellow and red led's because all of the lenses are dark smoked and my turn and brake lights are still a lot brighter than the stock lenses/bulbs. Did you change the front turn signal bulbs to led also? Not going to work right with any incandescent bulbs on the circuit.

Aggrex - The lights all light, but with the 1157's in the tail units, no flashing. I have never needed additional resistors with the electric flasher unit installed.

Groudfault - all the lights, except for the 1157's in the taillight housing are currently LED - the signals work. If I use the LED 1157 in the taillight, it won't flash at all.

I should add that the signals in the Speedometer are lit with incandescent. I need to pull the dash and replace everything behind it with LED's as well.

    Thanks for the responses!
