So I just unexpectedly had my CJ5 returned to me after it sat unused(except for the summer of 2007) for most of the last 20 years. I'm not a mechanic by any stretch of the word, but I have basic understanding. So I'm probably gonna have a lot of dumb questions along Ol' Blue's road to recovery. First step was to drop the fuel tank and have a look in there. Looked like a rusty old skillet with tomato soup in it. Pressure washer didn't do much, so I'm assuming that's grounds for replacement. My first google of a replacement yields cheaper tanks that say seals not included, but not what exactly that means. Does anyone know if that means just the clamps to the hoses or something like the tubes and two halves aren't sealed together?
