Just wondering anyone can answer a question about power running boards. Since the lowering and raising of the board is tied to the opening and closing of the door (I.e. the door jam button). So how do they work with the doors off ?

The steps would remain up as it sees the doors as being closed when the doors are off

If the power running board operations are triggered by the door jam switch a manual switch and/or over-ride switch should be able to be wired up to replace it.
