HI, We bought our Jeep Cherokee Limited 2014 in January 2015 with the genuine Chrysler fitted extras:
Technology Group; Electronics Convenience Group; Sunroof-PWR FRT Fixed Rear and dealer fitted extras; Cargo Mat; Ambient Light; Wheel Locks; Chrome Side Steps; Window Street Legal Film; Smartcote Surface Coating. The total on road cost AUD $54,700.00. During the past seven and a half years the vehicle has never been driven off road. It has been serviced regularly every six months. Because we do not cover many kilometers each year we insisted that the normal services would be done according to the distance travelled and not according to the period of time (which the service providers wished to follow stating that if this was not followed it would void the 5 year warranty). Had we done it their way our last service in July 2022 would have been the one scheduled for 192,000 km while the vehicle has only done 51,000 km. Since we bought the Jeep we have had the injectors replaced two years ago ( one injector had failed but we were still able to drive to the vehicle to the repair garage), and the right hand headlight bulb replaced last month. The cost of the bulb appeared to be a bit expensive at AUD$399.00. Besides the Mercedes Benz 280 SE, this has been the best vehicle we have owned during the past 60 years.
We replaced the tyres for the first time last month at which time we discovered that the spare wheel provided (225-60 18" steel wheel) was not the same size as the four wheels on the vehicle (225-55 19" magnesium wheels). A most enjoyable vehicle to drive.

Welcome @zg1933 ...interesting jeep story. For the low mileage and usage yearly replacement of motor oil should suffice. Other fluids like brake fluid and coolant replacement should be considered for replacement due to age (2014). If you could DIY the head light bulb that would have saved some bucks.

Thanks for the information. I had thought of changing the bulb myself but could not access the fitting. The service people told me that it was quite a process and charged AUD$56.00 for their time. Once uppon a time I enjoyed servicing my austin
1100 and 1800 vehicles, adjusting tappet clearences and fine tuning carburettors, changing brake pads, and replacing clutch plates.
The modern cars are too complicated for me and at age 89 I prefer to let the experts do the work.
