    I just bought a Grand Cherokee L. It has a this circle A exclamation light for auto start stop. Could somebody please help with what this error is?

    That symbol indicates that the auto stop-start system has an issue: circle with an arrow and the letter "A" in the center with or without an exclamation mark. Get the codes scanned and read at the local auto parts store otherwise schedule a dealer visit. Could be the auxiliary battery for the stupid start-stop or another component/sensor.
