Loose Front End, Need Suggestions

    Anyone that can help me, I sure would appreciate it. Have a 99 XJ that I’ve went through pretty much front to rear, but finally decided to tackle the front end bits I passed over the first time. I just replaced the axles, upper and lower ball joints, and the hub assemblies. There are all new brakes and calipers, lines, etc. everything but the knuckle itself is new. Drove it today and it’s absolutely a nightmare to keep in it’s own lane. Anything simple I’m overlooking? Any suggestions on where to start? I haven’t had it aligned yet, maybe that’ll help, but it doesn’t feel that bad out, it’s hunting something fierce.

    Get a good shop for the alignment to rule out a variable and check for proper torque specs for the parts you have replaced and then some

    Thank you. I plan on getting the alignment done to see if that helps. I torqued everything to spec on install, but I’ll definitely check that again. This thing was so squirrelly it wasn’t even funny.

    My guess? Caster is way out of spec, assuming everything else is tight.
