    Hi all.
I'm new to this forum, but not exactly new to the Jeep life. My wife and I have been bouncing around the Colorado mountains for at least 20 years.
    My off-road history:
First rig I built was a full sized Dodge Ram. Stroker motor, ARB in the front, Detroit out back, MileMarker 15,000lb hydraulic winch, a ton of body armor... This was the truck I used when I competed in 4Wheeler Magazines Real Truck Club Challenge.

Following this, I switched to Jeeps. The first build was an '89 YJ. Stripped to the bare frame. This one had an EFI 383 Chevy, a Turbo 350 with the torque converter from a TH400 for lower lockup, an Atlas 4-speed, full width axles with a D44 in front and a 12-bolt out back with Detroits at both ends. A 15,000lb MileMarker electric winch, Poison Spyder Stinger and rollcage. Etc. This is the one I used to see if I could kill myself wheeling. This photo was taken as I exited Independence Trail in Penrose, CO.

Next up was a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon we bought for my wife. We kept it stock for quite a while, and racked up 180,000 miles due to commuting 60 miles each way. We didn't do much off-roading for a few years due to other hobbies. We recently retired, but I could not convince her to trade Jeepers, so it was obviously time for a makeover.
    She went from this

We liked it so well that I sold my Colorado, and bought a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon for myself.

That was on August 17th. So since stock sucks...

When we're not getting dirty in those, my other automotive toy is IMG_3309.jpg.
    A 1999 M6 coupe. The 345HP LS1 has been replaced by a heads/cam/blower LS3 making 815HP.
Beyond the gearhead stuff, I skydive a bit. We spend a lot of time SCUBA diving. We shoot. I teach TKD. I play geeky games. And we raise havoc with our kids and grandkids.
