I recently had my rear caliper fall of my axle while on the freeway. A week prior the jeep was in service at my local dealer. The dealership had not even seen the TSB 05-006-21 (Technical Service Bulletin) about the caliper bolts or just did not care.

Both the dealer and the US Customer Service 877-426-5337 are stating that TSB are not warrantable work.

I love the Jeep and what I am able to experience with it but as a Jeep owner I put up with a lot that I never did even in a 20 year old car. Keep in mind that my jeep has less than 32K!!!

If you experience this issue yourself please protect other consumers by reporting this to the National Highway Safety Administration (www.nhtsa.gov or call 888-327-4236). Thanks!

Final Results!!! Jeep Manufacturer DENIED my factory warranty but Customer Service (FCA/MOPAR/Stellantis) over ruled with a $200 copay. I have never been treated like this with any other vehicle. WOW!!!!

Wow...glad you were not harmed as the mechanical parts can be replaced. Does the TSB involve single use bolts or is the defect something else?

My jeep has 32K miles, the brakes have yet been touched. Moving forward I will mark them with a sharpie after checking the torque settings and I can take a quick glance and ensure they are not backing up.
