850re on the display we have a transmission temperature gauge. What should be my normal range on temperatures for city driving or highway or towing?

I know above 220 transmissions really start to degrade their fluid but what should I consider normal and ok when I have minimal or no excess in weight?

    I ask because:
There’s a delay between 3/4th when cold on first drive.
After driving today under what I consider normal operating ie. city driving where I have 4 miles At highway speed the transmission temp as at 185*. This seems really high for a 8 mile trip without an excessive load.
    Your thoughts?

Good to have an ATF gauge to monitor for excessive temps >220. I’d perform a drain & fill with OEM spec ATF fluid and consider adding a transmission cooler.

It's fine at 185. Temps rise quickly and then stabilize. I'd add a transmission cooler if you plan on doing any towing or participating in any off highway hijinks.
