    1996 jeep grand cherokee
    I have a 1996 jeep grand Cherokee and I am having an issue when I accelerate the car will start to jolt violently the rpms jump up and down kinda like its not getting gas had this issue about 2 months ago changed out the fuel filter seemed to fix it do you think it could be the filter again? Please help.

    IMO , u might have one of 2 things . 1 a fuel issue (not the filter) but a starvation of fuel , pressure might be ok but volume might not be . 2 a spark issue , like a missfire or something . I would change the plugs and wires or boots . btw what engine do u have ?

    I would ck the fuel pressure and also ck the 02 sensor wiring for anything . But again i would ck and see what the flow is , pressure might be ok but the flow . JMO
