    I'm about 24 hours away from making a big decision. Live in Hawaii where everything is expensive. What's a fair deal for a 2017 Rubicon Hard Rock? Has everything but a Navigation system.

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    I looked at pulling a 3 month contract in Hawaii a couple years back. For a ride I found that all of the older jeeps like the CJs and YJs were very cheap compared to what they are asking here in Texas, and they all had low mileage. I had plans of buying one and selling it dirt cheap when I left. This came out way cheaper than renting a car for 3 months. To bad the job fell through.

    Hawaii is beautiful but the cost of living is insane. Well, no luck with the Rubicon Hard Rock. They wanted way too much and didn't give me a good number for my trade in.

    I'll try another dealership on the other side of the island.

    I would think the sticker would be the same as here, but the destination charge would be more expensive. What is your destination charge? I've been offered as low as $30500 for JKU and $35000 for a Rubicon JKU here in Houston. It drives me bonkers seeing people selling their 2,3,or 4 year old JKs for more than what I can get a new one.
