    Thank you guys.
Just ordered Skyjacker shocks and stablizer. Installed adjustable track bars this weekend. Greatly improved the ride.
I ran these shocks on my 2000 XJ. And i liked them. So im going with them on my JK.
    .
Looks like my Saturday morning will be busy. It's all good.

Update: Installed them today. Rides like a jeep now. :).

In an effort to keep putting my personal touches on my JK. Im looking to put on hood decals. Since my stock 2016 JK Wrangler doesn't not come with the Wrangler hood decals. I'd like to put them on. But, I'd like to try and make it look stock. But custom for a 016.. so I'm asking for someone's help.

If you run any year Wrangler with the hood decals. I was hopeing you might be able to please help me with a couple measurements. I'd like the measurement from the bottom of the hood, to the bottom of the decal. And the same from either the hood latch to the decal, or from the back of the hood to the decal. Close counts. Doesn't have to be excat.

Thank you very much in advance.

Cool. Thanks aggrex. Unfortunately I have the decals. After almost a month of trying to get the same color of the OE decals on it now. I got as close as I could. BUT...the pic you posted did help in giving me an idea where to start. I've been looking at other rigs and depending on the decals, Rubicon, Wrangler, etc. They all are different. So...here's how it turned out. The Suttle upgrades to make it yours.20170708_153016.jpg

    20170708_152810.jpg
I tried to match up the OE decal on the front quarter panel the best I could. Color, font, etc. Me likey. :)

    Looking good!
Is your spare tire resting on the rubber bumpers or at least making some contact?

Barely making contact. I am keeping an eye on it. But I do see a hinge reinforcement in my future. I'm looking at possibly replacing both bumpers. So until then. I'm going to hold off on the reinforcements. To many options involved between bumpers and tire carriers.

Some diy countermeasure: extending the length of the rubber bumpers with a rubber hose, fernco pvc coupling, rubber stopper. Whatever you choose will help stabilize the spare tire over rough terrain to prevent tailgate metal fatique or damage.

I haven't heard the word "fernco" coupling in years. I was in the water distribution field for years. They are commonly used in that field for water/sewer line breaks.

Never thought of that aggrex. Awesome idea. When I say barely. I can slip a credit card between them, and the tire. Great idea. Thank you for the advice. Heading to Home Depot asap. Great advice..

Just a quick question. Should I pick up a pair of those soft calf skin gloves for the install? Come on dude. You had to know I'd find a joke in there some where. Lolll.

I deal with Fernco couplings all the time. Mostly in the Sewer & Storm drain systems out here. Nothing pressurized.

Dude...no storm or sewer drains on my JK. Yes...no pressure lines. So what's your point concerning the post?? You seem a little displaced. Are you at work....or in Jeeps Dot Net.?? Just checkin.???.

When I was in the industry. Fernco became a generic name brand. There were several other manufacturers producing the type of couplings/ repair products. But they all became known as "ferncos" . Just as any soapy handful of steel became known as a "Brillio Pad". See my point.

Anyway. We got off topic. And it's cool. Yeah...and I'm going back to see who took us there. My guess....Chris4x4. Hello....:annoyed:o_O.

Specs out here don't allow for Fernco couplings to be used on pressure class pipe. Just saw your post about them, and chimed in.
