Our Jeep has been sitting motionless for about 2 yrs. We're about to get started with disassembly but before we do here are some before shots, unfortunately the sun wasn't working with me heh!

The head is going to a local machine shop to be cleaned , valve seats set, new springs, lock & retainers to match the Comp Cams Xtreme 4x4 kit. I'll finish the head with a coat of high heat either Blue (to match the new valve cover) or MSD Red and finally clear coat it.

Aluminum Offenhauser 4 barrel intake and a Header (haven't decided on which brand yet) topped with a Holley 390 cfm electric choke carburetor. I still don't know which feed line I'll need or how I'm going to route everything.

MSD products will be installed ... Pro Billet distributor , 8.5 wires, Blaster SS Coil & Digital 6 box.
I forgot I would need Tach Adapter to work with my factory tach .. pretty sure part # 8910 is the one I need. I'm going to have to call them back and make sure.

New bumper for the front capable of mounting our wench and the rear with a swing away tire carrier.

6 inch fender flares from smittybilt and a 1" body lift from Daystar with all new hardware, the rear shock mounts are rusted and broke away so I have to have what's left ground away and the new replacements welded on... sourcing that job out cause I don't have the tooling or welding skills to tackle it myself.

There is more but I'll post pics as we install stuff.... my work schedule only allows me 2 times a month to work on it so it's gonna be slow actually doing the work. We've decided to make this a family event so our sons will be helping. Thanks for looking and advice and approach to tasks are appreciated.

Sorry I didn't get this uploaded yesterday... been busy for a guy who has the week off! :headbang: We went with BFG Mud Terrain TA KM2's. You can read the cam spec ... the only part that hasn't come in is the offy 4 barrel intake I've got all the Felpro gaskets I'll need.. hopefully soon I can get it moved over to my buddies house and we can get started. Oh! I also have some floor rot on the driverside front so I went ahead and ordered the new floor pan section OEM direct fit so, we'll just cut that old shit out and prep the new piece and weld her in...and damn it the bumpers, seat and seat slider haven't come in yet either. The 6 inch Smitty fender flares are here but I'm not unboxing those for a picture.. you'll see em on the jeep. I can't remember if it was here in another thread or where but someone recommended the Pacesetter Header so as pictured I got that, thanks for the recommendation! badlands 12000 wench.jpg BFG MUD TERRAIN KM2.jpg IMG_1256.jpg IMG_1257.jpg IMG_1258.jpg IMG_1259.jpg IMG_1260.jpg

I received my driver side front seat slider and driver side seat today, opened the box for the seat (which was labeled for the correct seat) and discovered a rear bench seat! No plastic, no documentation , just the seat. I called 4WD and the correct seat is on the way. I thought I got a good deal on the seat but discovered Quadratec has the same Smittybilt seat $45.00 cheaper ...so calling them back tomorrow to get a price match.

I should be getting my POR15 kit soon as well. Found 1 Gal of POR15 for $123.00 online with Walmart , had them price match that and got the 1 Gal Metal Prep & Cleaner Degreaser for around $190 bucks. That same kit is listed o their site for $214. Make sure you price check and match!

I decided to have a new two bay garage built to build this Jeep and future projects in... thus the reason you're not seeing updates on the build. :)
