Okay. So I just had both my transmission and 249 transfer case replaced in my zj. Noticed the output shaft on the t case that connects to the front drive shaft was leaking fluid. I'm Wondering if the output shaft seal is bad or if the tranny is leaking into the t case causing overfilling and leaking. Is that even possible?

Sounds like the seal is bad. Should be an easy replacement. When you replace it, make sure you don't over fill the T-case.
