SOLD - Sorry, I don't see a way to delete this thread. Thanks for your interest.

Classic, unmolested 1981 Jeep CJ7 4x4. It's newly repainted in it's original color, Olympic White. It has a hardtop with steel doors so it's great in winter and bad weather. It also has good soft top and soft doors but I don't have the soft top bows (they're easy to fabricate). It has a Bikini top and full passenger compartment rain cover for when you need to leave it while you're wearing your bikini. It has BestTop bucket seats in good condition. I have the rear seat and it's in good condition but could use a cover. There are 111,400 miles on the Jeep, and approximately 60,000 on the 4 speed manual (SR4) transmission. The 4.2 liter engine was completely rebuilt 6,000 miles ago (bearings, rings, oil pump, etc.) including a complete head rebuild (new valves, guides, seats, seals, etc), and a Competition Cams camshaft and lifters. It has a new Centerforce clutch pressure plate, Centerforce clutch disk, and Centerforce throwout bearing, and the flywheel has been resurfaced. I also installed a new Weber carburetor (38 DGAS with electric choke). It has Hooker headers, power steering, power brakes, new shocks, and an Alpine stereo with 4 speakers that sounds great. The tires are 31x10.50x15 on white spoke wheels, including the spare, and are in very good condition. It has a new water pump, alternator, power brake booster, master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, pads, and shoes. It has Rancho springs with a leaf removed to lower the ride height back to stock. If you like a taller ride it's simple to put them back in. I installed all new heater control cables and knobs, and an IMPROVED heater fan motor. This Jeep actually has a GOOD heater and defroster. It's way better than stock. It has a swing away spare tire carrier and a good spare tire.

I've owned this Jeep for 10 years; I've never taken it off-road and have meticulously restored and maintained it. Prior to coming to Cheyenne it spent its days in the Southwestern US so it has very little rust and the tub and frame are in great condition. It starts great in any weather and goes anywhere.

Haggerty values this Jeep at $8,300 average to $14,100 excellent, and I'd rate it about half way between. I've priced it to sell at $8,995 OBO. Please contact me if you'd like to take a drive.

Can you post pictures? Some folks cant open links, or don't want to due to security risk.
