I need help troubleshooting a start/no crank situation. I have replaced the starter, also the 5 prong/4 pin system, and also the starter fuse under the hood. I have 12V on my solenoid and also when it happened, a friend of mine was changing my CD player out and there is a horn malfunction well-known on the web. We pulled the fuse and it did not crank. Does anyone have any suggestions or input on what to do next? Does the ignition have anything to do with this situation possibly or is it more of a neutral relay switch or maybe something else I read about a piece on the transmission that gets hot. Stumped and confused, if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Welcome, what year is your cherokee? Is the ignition switch good? You will need a meter or at least a test light. You should start at home base, and trace your hot wires starting with power to the ignition then coming out of ignition with the key in crank position, etc. trace it all the way to the starter. There are stops along the way like a possible relay switch on certain year models etc.
