Hi all! I'm new to forums, but have owned Jeeps and nothing but for ten years or so. I've had a few zj's, and a couple yj's now. My newest yj, an 88 always puts a smile on my face. It doesn't matter if it's raining and I'm 50 miles from home with no top on, or if I'm broke down Layin under her, I enjoy it all. My gf (jeepmafiamama), took over my 98 zj, and we both have jeep blood and pride in our veins. I am always trying to find new accesories and upgrades on a workin man's budget. Newest mod. Is making and installing a hi-lift jack mount that is secure and not in the way, but most important, made with parts and pieces I had around garage. I have alot of other stuff in the works, and already done that I will post later. Here's a few pics of my mount... keep jeepin' on!

Welcome! Some Jeep accessories are definitely over-priced so any diy repurposing trick is appreciated

Thanx all! I am always working on cheap mods as $ is tight, and my better half insists we pay the power company and buy food before i can squander our hard earned $ on jeep paraphernalia. So it comes down to redneck ingenuity, McGyver skills, and ol' fashion trial and error to think of and create some of the items on my future project wishlist. I realized I caught this jeep infatuation and found a real joy that only my fellow keepers may appreciate. so I will start to post some of my projects and some of the horror stories associated with my experience as a jeep owner. Keep jeepin' on!
