Will a cam sensor cause

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    Possibly the injector. Before buying a new one I would try to clean the current one. I often hear about people replacing coil, spark plug, and plug wires when it turns out all along it was the injector. Try swapping a coil, plug and wire from a known working cylinder and see if you still get the same code. If so it is likely the injector. Anybody else have any thoughts.

    Had a buddy have the same issue with a misfire in a Chevy Pick Up. A mechanic friend of his told him it could be one of a dozen things. I told him to throw a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank. Ran the truck for 15 minutes. And the misfire stopped. Start with the cheapest easiest fix. And go from there.

    I would also follow the advice of OFFGRID. Peter knows his s--t. :bowdown:
