Oil fill on Dana 35

    4 in lift
    I have a Dana 35. With a 4 in lift. With change of diff angle. Do I need to add more oil to make sure oil gets to pinion gear?

    99 TJ locked/locked, 4" lift, 1" body lift, skids and more skids, geared 4.88s, super shorty sye, all Rockmen adjustable arms, D44 rear, D30 front, all disc brakes, AX15 manual 5 speed, waren winch, currie tie rod, a drop down tail gate and heater relays upgrade to keep my heater switch from melting lol, and lots more stuff. 79 CJ5 with 4.0 swap
    That depends... did you do an SYE or did you do a T-case drop? Look at your diff and if its pointing upwards from your SYE then you need to over fill your diff a little for it to get uphill to your pinion bearings. I fill mine like normal till its just to the bottom of the fill hole, but I park on a steep hill and do it in my driveway. If your on flat ground fill it till it runs out good and plug it fast.
