I have a bad air filter system so I regularly have to clean my throttle body. Fine. I'm OK with that. But for the first time today, it was raining, I was going 60 mph and RPM's drop to 1, jerks a little and all my gauges drop to nothing. Brakes went out(obviously) BC my truck was off!
I really need some help here! Anything helps!!!

5" lift, 4.11 gears, tru-trac limited-slips, winch, bumbers... you know the rest.
Well, air filter systems are in place to protect the inside of your engine so you really should fix that before you lose compression and need a motor. It's possible you pulled in some water while driving or have a vacuum leak? Do you have other details such as if it restarted or have you checked fuel pressure or have a check engine light on?

Check engine light did not come on. I make sure I fox that any time it does come on. When it did that to me and I finally pulled over and turned it to the off position it started back up. But was terrified considering I had to drive 40 miles back home. As far as fuel pressure...??

Oh and the seal on my air intake I did fix just 4 days before this happened. I cleaned my throttle body and foxed the seal while I did that
