91 YJ tranny stuck in 4th gear

    Hey dudes. Just joined the forums. I acquired a 1991 jeep yj renegade , long story, from my daughter. I had bought it for her last year. She has since moved out and left me with the jeep since the transmission is stuck in 4th gear.

    I'm looking for info on either ordering a rebuilt tranny or rebuilding it myself. Hopefully, you guys have countless threads on the ax15 and can link me to them. Thanks in advance.

    Are you unable to pull the shifter out of 4 or is that the only gear that works?
