14 mpg isn't horrible. Can do better. But it really isn't that bad especially if you do a lot of local city driving. But if you can recalibrate your Puter, you could probably get a little better. Good thing gas prices came down alittle...huh.

Depending on how I drive, my MPG can fluctuate huge. Ive gotten 14, and 20. All seems to depend on how heavy me foot is.

Imdo,a lot of highway driving. 23 miles highway to work. Very minimal local city driving. And I constantly keep it around 20mpg. And so true Chris. Driving habits can have a huge effect. I drove my XJ for 14 years like I just bought it. And I drive my JK the same way. And I'm the guy every body passes on the highway. Lol.

2 door and 4 door make a difference also. THe 4 doors weigh quite a bit more......at least.......mine does :(

This is true. Didn't think about that....duh. Forgot you guys drive those Jeeps with 2 extra doors. Lol. But, in defense of the JKU. Some of the nicest bad ass jeeps I've seen are JKUs.

Back to my statement. Saw the Alpine Jeep in Wildwood. I fell in love with this JKU. You have to see the chassis. All painted silver and purple. One bad ass JKU.
