Hello, I have a Jeep Wrangler sport 2005.

I am looking to buy a muffler I've looked at the flowmasters super 40/44, also have looked at magna flows, but I'm not sure which size I need and which inlet/outlet

basically I just need help on what can fit my jeep, I was told 2.5 center in/offset out, but can a 2.25 center in/offset out work aswell?

    Any info would be great

it will, but wiil cost you more to install because they will hve to flare it a 1/4 inch. you would be better off to purchase the correct one. look into a banks cat back system. they have done wonders for jeeps.

Unless you have a lift and the necessary tools to modify the exhaust pipes its way better to buy the muffler that fits. I bought the spendy Magnaflow axle-back muffler and the bolt-on installation was 15 minutes not including stock muffler removal.

As an fyi: I should have bought the rock crawler cat-back version for max clearance...but the dual pipes look so awesome!

Shh! There is at least one discreet corner left plus some new mod pics which will be quite skimpy just like them ez-bolt-on instructions:)

PS. Sorry if we hijacked your thread Lazer. But there are numerous types of after market mufflers out there. And as others posted, they are awesome installs. And to agree with aggrex. I've done some research. And the MagnaFlow cat back system looks and sounds great. Although a bit pricey. A great system which I hope to install at some point.
