I really like this forum. Going off in another direction right now. Awesome members, extremely knowledgeable, great sense of humors, and ready to help with whatever may be the issue.

This is what makes a great family / forum. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. And we pass them along, share, laugh, and learn. It's all about sharing our strengths, and sharing. We all learn. And have fun along the way.

It could be the bushings. They make kits that replace the OEM bushings with delrin bushings, and it's supposed to make the removal much more easy.

Corrosion and dirt are the usual culprits for making jeep door removal difficult. The Delrin liners replace the OEM metal liners that corrode over time. Delrin installation is not too bad if you have the optional tool to knock the corroded OEM liner out and some lubricant WD40. Once the OEM liner is out the clean up of the door hinge begins with some light sanding. Some tips to remove a stuck door may include a block of wood and a floor jack. Expect a struggle with door removal and be prepared for accidental dropping or damages. Once completely installed, the Delrin makes it easier for annual door removal.
