I get it. My jeep has been out of commission since my last crown king trip a little over a month ago. Least it's not a dd.

Sorry dude. Mines a DD. I need to be careful. But I do admire you guys. Wish I had another DD. But I do love driving my DD....every day. Makes it worth going to work. Well.....to some extent anyway.,

Again. I'm in awe of you guys. I'd love to do what you guys do, and hit the trails you guys run. The little trail I run takes about an hour. Just a little trail to get to a fishing hole. Big circle. And it is fun. But, I'd like to be able to run a some what more challenging trail or 2. Jersey sucks. NOT one legal trail here. Thanks guys. Awesome posts.

Ya I'm in Florida the flattest state in the United States the only climbing I do here is the occasional hill or bridge, we do have a lot of water though. I got to these farm fields by my house that when it rains is completly under water so I like to go in there every now and then. Only problem is that there are huge lime stones that site under the water so it takes a chunk off ur diff when ever u hit them

Not sure it this is the thread to post this.
But I just recently watched a Teraflex video on the Rubicon Trail. Sooooo cool. Looks like a great time wheeling. Jeep Jamboree running this trail since 1953. I love stuff like this. The history of Jeeps, Jeepers, and wheeling. So cool.

Has anyone run this trail? Would like to see pics and hear about your experience.

Crown king 8? Even if you take every single side obstacle I don’t think it’s an 8. The main trail is like a 2 a stock jk can make it through.

I think upper and lower Terminator at Table Mesa are supposed to be harder than anything on Crown King. I could see a couple of those obstacles on Crown King at a 5 or 6, but if you take all the bypasses, it’s about a 2. Fun either way

It’s possible that it was really rutted out when the rating was given

Im sure. Its difficulty can very from time to time. Years ago (15+), it was a nice, challenging trail. Since then, they've graded it a few times.

Pretty sure different places rate the trails differently.
    For instance SMORR ratings are:
    1) Easy
    2) Moderate
    3) Difficult
    4) Hardcore
    5) Extreme
    6) Insane (built buggy only)

I've done all the 4s and some of the 5s there. The 6s require at least 40" tires and tons.

Our closest park is Disney, OK. There are no trail ratings there. Here's a vid of one of the obstacles called little blue. I'm the first Jeep.
