Can you verify if the ASD relay is turning on? You should get a little click noise out of it when the key is turned on.

I had one not run after a rebuild until I did a service reset on it, if your code reader doesn't have that option try disconnecting the battery over night and see if that helps.

    Thanks
    Jeff

Ok. So I'm pretty sure it' the PCM. Haven't found a short. Relays and fuses seem good. I have been told you can confirm pcm failure by getting one from the local junk yard plug it in and fire it up. If it fires up my pcm is bad. I don't plan on running it. Just want to confirm mine is junk before I drop the money on a new one programmed to my vin and mileage.

Can anyone confirm this, that I can put this pcm in my jeep that is not programmed to my jeep and fire it up? Or will it fry mess things up worse?

Ok. So i went out to put things back together and swap pcm's. Decided to check all my fuses again since I was there. So I pulled fuses one by one checking them and spraying contact cleaner into where they go.. low and behold I pulled one and its blown.. check what it is.. injector fuse.. swapped it with the horn. Slapped it back together. And she fired up!!!!!!!!! Running a little rough, and pretty sure the water pump is shot. But she fired up and ran for a min. Shut it down beore damage was done. So I must have missed that fuse the first time... which is very possible if you know me.. lol.

As funny as it is, it can be tough to tell if a fuse is blown unless you actually pull it and look at it. Ive fallen victim of this many times.

Ok.. so the new water pump is in. I put a new powerstop truck and row package brake and rotor kit on. Fired her up. Runs. Started to Smooth out.. still had a noise coming from a pulley.. Found the bearing on the alternator is shot. And the tension pulley everything I've replaced already.. (except main). I think alternator and the dying water pump compounded with some overdue General maintenance was the source of the problem. So.. New alternator and tension pulley this pay day. And hopefully she' back on the road.

OK. So she's back up and running...
New parts include, fuel filter, crankshaft position sensor, coil pack, spark plugs, thermostat, stat housing, coolant sensor, water pump, alternator, fuel injector fuse, ASD relay, and a powerstop performance brake kit.
Can ya believe that I still have more to do...lol
