If the Ranger wheels have a 5 x 4.5 pattern it should bolt up but the next concern is the optimal backspacing or offset.

Pardon my ignorance, is the offset the distance that the actual tire sits back toward the inside the Jeep? Usually I have my grandson to school me on such matters but since he joined up I’m on my own lol

You are describing backspace. Offset is where the mounting service of the wheel sits in relation to the center of the wheel as it rolls. When looking for clearance of suspention components backspace is the better measurement to follow. Here is a video of backspace vs offset from discount tire.

The center bore hole may be a tad small but can be filed down to work.

As noted the Ranger center bore hole is smaller thus I wouldn't waste my time making a hub centric into an un-hub centric. But to each their own.
I like my holes nice, uniform and smooth.
