Got a 1975 with a 258 and wanting to replace the valve cover and gasket. Was told to find an aluminum one. Found some but they keep saying the fit 1981 and newer. Does someone have a link to the correct aluminum cover?? TIA

The information provided may not be definitive but I’d take a new gasket or the old one to match up with the aluminum valve cover you intend to purchase. Certain breather lines or pcv valve locations may have changed during its 20+ year run and the motor has been used in a variety of Jeep vehicles.
