    1978 CJ7 restored
    Stock
    Hello all!

I restored a 1978 CJ7 5 years ago. I sent the power steering box out west to be rebuilt. It sat in my shop for two years. Once I completed the restoration the power steering is unbalanced. The steering wants to turn left by its self. Alignment, pinion angle and all is correct. Its the output that causing the issue. If I raise the front wheels just slightly but not off the ground and I start the Jeep the wheels will turn to the left with out using the steering wheel. Can the spool or something be adjusted internally? I'm used to driving it but my wife does not like the feel of the wheel.

    Greg
