I have a 1982 CJ5 with a 2.5l (151 Iron Duke). When cold, the starter turns over engine and engine starts normally If I try to start it again after turning it off, the starter does not turn at all, not even a clicking sound. As soon as it cools off, the starter works normally and the engine starts as expected. The starter doesn't appear to be getting any juice when the engine is hot.
    Any ideas for the cause.

Welcome @srtchief ...instead of just playing dead your starter may be on the way out. Get the starter/solenoid tested to confirm this online diagnosis.

Thanks, I think that I'll do just that.

If that is not the issue, try checking electrical connections from the battery to the starter. The starter has the largest electrical draw on the system. This can be assisted by connecting a large wire from the battery negative terminal post to a point close to the starter like a starter mounting bolt.

Thank you, we found a wire that had a loose crimp to a connector, re crimped it, and it seemed to fix the problem.

It would be better if you would solder that crimp joint, along with any others that you have. Then covering them up with that liquid electrical tape or something like that to help against corrosion.

Thanks, I found a few other connections that would benefit from your suggestion.
