2022 Compass Tow hitch wiring harness connector

Hi,
I installed the OEM Trailer hitch on my 2022 Compass Latitude last fall, and just recently got the time to put in the Curt wiring harness. The installation went fine except for one small thing.
How does one secure the 4-Position trailer connector to the hitch? There is a cut-out for what I assume is the Factory connector, but it is a lot larger than what is needed for the Curt.
Any suggestions?

Zip ties, fabricate a mount or bracket to secure the connector. These are some ideas.

 

You could probably drill and bolt this to your 7 wire mounting bracket or just mount this next to it.
