Can I get advice on how to wire up separately my 4x4 indicator lamp directly to the battery? My transfer case is a Dana 300 with the male end ball switch that is held by a female pigtail single orange wire. It is not lighting up when I engage the 4 wheel drive. Must be a short in the wiring. All the other lights, brake lights are working. I have a new switch on order. It did work fine before I put new painless wiring harness in about 6 years ago.if I can getsome advice on how to wire it up by itself and bypass the harness that would be great. Thanks.
