    Hi,

My first time on the forum. I have a 2018 GC. The air suspension isn't working. looks like the compressor will need to be replaced. MOPAR offers a new compressor for $1900+, rebuilt for $900+ and aftermarket compressors are in the $400 range. Any thoughts or experience you can share. Thanks KOMAL102

honestly stay away from the cheap $400 aftermarket units because they usually fail in less than a year and sound like a jackhammer behind your fender the $900 rebuilt option from a place like rebuild master tech is the best middle ground since they use oem cores and often upgrade the internal piston to outlast the mopar original

if you do it yourself make sure you check your rear airbags for leaks first because a tiny leak is usually what kills the compressor by making it run 24/7 also remember that this system needs to be refilled with nitrogen not just regular air or it'll freeze up and fail the first time it gets cold outside
