I finally gave up on the fuel gauge in the main cluster. I purchased an Auto Meter "JEEP" 2-1/16" fuel gauge. Has anyone ever installed one of these? It is spec'd at 73 Ohms empty to 10 Ohms full, supposedly to match 68-1/2 to 75 rear tank sending units.

I have a 73 rear tank and 67 front tank. When the gauge in the main cluster did work, it would read correctly on the rear tank, but 1/4 to 3/4 on the front tank.
