Hello, new here and looking for a little help. I just bought a 2002 Liberty 3.7 liter for the crazy price of $200. It has a charging problem( previous owner says it keeps draining the battery)
It has a new battery, alternator and starter. I saw a couple Youtube videos that says it could be the PCM. If anyone has had this problem and can help, it would be appreciated. Thanks, John

Before digging into that pcm I’d perform a parasitic draw test, check battery cables from end-to-end not just the terminals. Some local auto parts stores can or will perform a test on the alternator and battery to help rule out variables

Thanks. I found a video on how to check for a parasitic drain. I will be able to test the alternator as well. Thanks for the response.
