Hi all, I'm looking for the dust cover for this 78 CJ5. Previous owner dropped a 350 in and the bellhousing and adaptor to the T150 are a mystery. Most of the history behind this ride is vague at best but its got a good heart. Tried on the shelf stock but can't come up with a match. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thx in advance

I would think you should be able to find one on the net or a junkyard.

Thanks JB, I did get a tip on a junk yard about 30 minute from my home so after agreeing to spend some quality with my wife we took the 30 min ride and scoured all GM vehicles, mostly 90’s and newer. I’m not very experienced is this effort but from what I’m finding the dust cover that I need maybe from the 70’s or so. I’m taking another run at online. Thanks again.

Not sure from the pic just how low that flywheel/clutch hangs down. Hopefully some big rock doesn't clobber it or the oil pan. I would at least suggest a steel plate to protect that pan from getting clobbered. Although I am old school and we needed a bit more protection from the big rocks that a CJ5 is well capable of climbing and scraping over.
