    Hi can anyone recommend a snorkel for my 2009 JK..was leaning towards the River Raider Expedition or the Rugged Ridge Low Modular

    Welcome @1kingcrab . The snorkels you listed should be fine. I would look over the installation instructions as some may have either more cutting or modifications than others. Reduced number of parts could mean less points of water entry. Depending upon your actual usage some are low profile instead of the traditional high mounted visible snorkel. I like the AEV kit once you commit to cutting the hood. AEV dust cap is designed to handle dusty trails. Most snorkels should bring in more cool air than some CAI kits. Post up what you decide and make a build thread on your snorkel install.

    3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
    I bought a snorkel for my rig about 3 years ago. It required a hole cut in the hood. It sat in my garage for about 4 months before I decided I didnt have the balls to cut my hood lol. Ended up selling it. I dont like water fording and I try to stay away from it as much as I can. But sometimes you just gotta go thru it haha.

    Lol I believe that's the River Raider..I'm also having a problem cutting into a perfectly healthy hood as well
