Bought 1975 CJ5 Jeep...is it supposed to be level?

    Hello everyone I have a ? The front of the jeep is higher than the rear of the jeep is it supposed to be like that or level

    2 inch lift, bumper and winch 33" mud claw
    Mine is level but it's a tj my cousins cj was level tho maybe someone removed the rear shackles oh and welcome from DFW

    Welcome! Looks like a case of the saggy rear syndrome. Post some pics of this CJ puppy followed by some closeups of the shackles and leaf springs. In general the jeeps are usually level unless loaded down in the rear. Your CJ is over 40 years old thus the leaf springs, shackles, shocks, etc may be worn out. But it's a jeep and repairable.

    Hi Tammy did you get you jeep leveled out ? Mine is a 76 cj and sits the same way yours does.
