Also....I'm not very fimilar with the 93. And I am learning the 98 ZJ. But today's vehicles have self adjusting timing. So again. Timing....is not the issue with your ZJ. It after reading other posts. That #4 cylinder is definitely problematic. But members more knowledgeable than myself have pointed that out.
My girlfriend has a 98 ZJ. So I am subbed to your thread. I'm kinda learning as you do. :)

Nice, thanks for the sub. I try to be detailed as possible from every angle possible. #4 cylinder is troublesome. Assuming it may just be sticky, I tried the spray distilled water in the Sp hole and when i get these wires today and wire her all back up, spray more in the intake with the engine running to "steam clean" the engine, hoping to unstick that chamber if it is sticky stuck lol... Read nothing but good reviews on that...

being the resident curmudgeon - Grumpy Old Men- is the crew I spend time with.

How did interview/job hunt go recently?
Yes I understand hard times And know the tricks to try BUT I hate the avenue we have to use to make ends meet, I just have the resources with work to grab a new XYZ and move on.

#4 - when getting plug wires? - maybe some 'seafoam' or top end cleaner to put into #4 to address sticking rings. I suggest you start engine at night after trying the soak rings with cleaner - experience is SMOKE at start up - thats capital SMOKE.

I try to follow along - ALL plugs look rich, could this engine have wrong thermostat? Hoping for easy fast fix.
IDK V power plugs I will google before comment. BUT my nature is STOCK is best.

Glad to see someone else knowing what hard times is lol and me too, I can't wait until i can do anything legit and without worry, for real. I'll check the thermostat today too, I thought they all looked "faulty" myself, these have only been in for a month or so

Got under with the cat and shook it around and up and down with my hands and can definitely hear/feel something inside rattling around. Tinkered with the heat shield the best i could, its solid.
